Andrew Lloyd

I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Columbia University. My research focuses on imaging the solid Earth’s 3D elastic and viscous structure using observations from seismology and of glacial isostatic adjustment in order to investigate geodynamic processes, the geology and tectonic histories of continents, and the interactions of the solid Earth and the cryosphere & hydrosphere.

Role: Postdoctoral Research Scientist, Co-leader of INSTANT’s Solid Earth-Ice Interactions
Field of Research: Solid Earth structure
Areas of Expertise: Seismology, GIA, Antarctic Tectonics
